ATA Carnet System version 2.0.4 Known issues

This article lists the known issues currently identified across the system ahead of go‑live.
Its purpose is to inform all stakeholders transparently.
All issues listed below are planned to be resolved in an upcoming hotfix, unless stated otherwise.

ATA Carnet App – Known Issues

Carnet shown as not signed when downloaded via shared voucher

  • Issue: Downloaded Carnet incorrectly appears as not signed.
  • Workaround: None.
  • Resolution: Upcoming hotfix.

Global Known Issues

Activation and password reset email validity

  • Issue: Activation and password reset emails incorrectly state a validity of 48 hours.
  • Expected behaviour: Links are valid for 2 hours.
  • Workaround: Request a new activation or password reset email.

MFA (TOTP) not working as expected

  • Issue: Time‑based One‑Time Password (TOTP) MFA may fail.
  • Status: Technically fixed, but all existing TOTP configurations were reset.
  • Action required:
    1. Delete the existing entry from your authenticator app.
    2. Log in to the platform.
    3. Reconfigure TOTP MFA.

Deleting users with both Holder and Chamber permissions

  • Issue: Deleting a user that has both Holder and Chamber roles (NGA or IA) may result in full account deletion.
  • Root cause: The same email address was used for:
    • ACO/Chamber access and
    • Holder applications (ATA Carnet App or ATA Carnet Desktop)
  • Important: This configuration is not supported.
  • Action: Contact support if affected.
  • Planned fix: Only Holder data will be removed when such cases exist.

Broken layout during multi‑factor authentication login

  • Issue: The UI layout may appear broken when logging in with MFA.
  • Impact: Visual only.
  • Status: Authentication flow remains functional.
  • Resolution: Will be fixed in the upcoming hotfix.

ATA Carnet Customs - Known Issues

Customs Regions cannot be deleted

  • Issue: A Customs Region cannot be deleted even when all offices have been removed.
  • Workaround:
    • Wait for the hotfix or
    • Contact support.

Carnet history details not loading

  • Issue: The Carnet history sidebar may load indefinitely.
  • Scope: Legacy Carnets created before version 2.0.
  • Recommendation: Use newly created Carnets for testing and training.
  • Resolution: Data cleanup scheduled for 18 May 2026.

ATA Carnet NICS - Known Issues

Carnet unusable after status change

  • Issue: A Carnet moved from Returned → Activated becomes unusable.
  • Resolution: Upcoming hotfix.

Incorrect information after status rollback

  • Issue: A Carnet changed from Issued → Draft → Issued may display incorrect data.
  • Resolution: Upcoming hotfix.

ATA Carnet Desktop – Known Issues

Carnet shown as not signed when downloaded via shared voucher

  • Issue: Downloaded Carnet incorrectly appears as not signed.
  • Workaround: None.
  • Resolution: Upcoming hotfix.

Incorrect QR code displayed in transactions

  • Issue: QR code is generated with incorrect information.
  • Workarounds:
    • Customs must manually enter the Carnet ID / Carnet number and Transaction Code, or
    • Use ATA Carnet App (ACA), which displays the correct QR code.
  • Resolution: Upcoming hotfix.
