Can I use the same ATA Carnet on multiple devices?

Yes.

A digital ATA Carnet may be accessed from multiple compatible devices. Carnet information, prepared travels and transaction history are synchronised through the ATA Carnet System.

Will my travels appear on all devices?

Yes.

Prepared travels are synchronised between devices associated with the same carnet. Changes made on one device will normally become available on the others after synchronisation.

Can more than one person access the same carnet?

Yes, provided they have been given access through the appropriate sharing or download mechanisms. Different access methods may provide different levels of functionality.

Why can one user prepare travels while another user can only view the carnet?

Users who access a carnet through a shared link receive read-only access.

To prepare travels and manage the carnet, a user must have full access obtained through the carnet download process using the Carnet ID and PIN.

Should the holder and the representative use the same account?

No.

Each user should access the ATA Carnet System using their own account. The identity of the person signing a carnet or travel is recorded and may be visible to Customs authorities.
